Johns bike

A 96 TZ 250 purchased wrecked for $2500.00 From Emil (call me Pete) Gallant. The bike originally belonged to Shannon O’Hara (Dan Cooks Brother) and was destroyed in a turn 7 tangle in practice

I rebuilt it from the ground up retro-fitted a 95 swing arm on (to shorten the chassis) The frame and swing arm have been blueprinted by THE FRAME MAN in Sacramento (a long time sponsor) the bottom end, carbs, and electrics are bone stock the cylinders are 96 ported by Brian Turfry (originally done for Kim Lebaron and I got them from Armine Absudai((Thanks Armine)) with stock 96 pipes It has a Battle Shifter and the suspension is completely re-valved/worked Stock Forks / Ohlins shock by AFTERSHOCKS Phil Douglas is a Wizard and the bike sticks like glue. Dunlop Tires from Sport tire services / Terry Newby have never failed to make up for my short comings.

For the 2006 season I asked Roland Cushway to consult throughout the season. He is responsible for driving me to be more detail oriented (and clean things more) and the fact that I had a season with NO mechanical issues whatsoever for the 16 races I competed in (Money VERY well spent)
